Special presentation on Restorative Justice by Kay Pranis:

Why Asking the Questions Transcends Knowing the Answers for Restorative Justice & ADR Practitioners
About the Program: Join us as a leader in the restorative justice field, Kay Pranis, discusses the most profound shift of the restorative justice vision – the shift from the professional having the answers to the professional inviting the wisdom of each participant to enter. Attend this special presentation and gain the courage to facilitate without knowing the answers. Learn how the collective wisdom can make restorative justice relevant to the current conversation about race and equity in the United States.
About the Speaker: Kay Pranis worked for the Minnesota Department of Corrections for nine years between 1994 and 2003 as the Restorative Justice Planner. It was in that position that she learned about and began her focus on Circles. She has had many wonderful teachers and is particularly indebted to Barry Stuart, Harold Gatensby, Mark Wedge and Phil Gatensby for her early learning about Circle process. She is deeply grateful for the gift of the circle in her life |
