Leading in a Safe Zone Space
The Safe Zone Ally initiative is a campus wide program designed to visibly identify individuals who support lesbian , gay, bisexual and transgenger (LGBT) people and are willing to act as allies by learning more about the issues facing LGBT communities. As a leader often times one is faced with interacting with individuals who are different from us, however it is imperative to ones growth to understand, recognize and respect those differences.
