Popy Begum is a John Jay College 2013 high honors graduate with a BA in International Criminal Justice and four minors. She received an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the Centre for Criminology at Oxford University. Her Master’s dissertation received the 2015 John Sunley Prize by the Howard League for Penal Reform. Popy has worked at Riker’s Island and currently works at Quality Services for the Autism Community and teaches at John Jay.
