Blanche Wiesen Cook
is Distinguished Professor of History and Women’s Studies at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the CUNY Graduate Center. In addition to authoring the widely popular first two volumes of her Eleanor Roosevelt biography, Dr. Cook has enjoyed a storied career as a public scholar, journalist, and political commentator.

Eleanor Roosevelt Volume 3 caps the definitive biography of one of the 20th century’s most important and inspirational figures: activist, first-lady, and champion of women’s rights and democracy in America and around the world. Selected as one of the New York Times’ 100 notable books of 2016.
