Mental Health Communication and Conflict Resolution

MH Mediate and the CUNY Dispute Resolution Center are hosting another Mental Health in Mediation Community Meeting to discuss two cutting-edge topics and engage in open discussion.

Topics:
The Pitfalls of Profiling Parties:
How typecasting parties with mental health issues can create problems

When a Mediator Needs Mental Health Communication Skills:
What situations and indicators show that mediators need mental health communication skills

Format:
Each topic includes a 10 minute presentation and 25 minutes of discussion, and we conclude with 20 minutes of open discussion.
