Jennifer Musto is an Assistant Professor of Women’s and Gender Studies at Wellesley College and a postdoctoral research fellow affiliated with SEXHUM, a project that examines migration, sex work, and sex trafficking in
the United States, France, Australia, and New Zealand. Her research and published work examines the laws and technologies designed to respond to sex trafficking and sex work, with particular focus on the carceral and collaborative dimensions of anti-sex trafficking efforts in the United States. In her talk, Dr. Musto will discuss her recent book Control and Protect: Collaboration, Carceral Protection and Domestic Sex Trafficking in the United
States (University of California Press, 2016).
