ElSA Hilal Avci Bio:
As a Software Engineer at Wells Fargo, I apply my skills in Java, Microservices, and Backend API's to develop and maintain web applications that support the bank's operations and services. I work with a team of engineers and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our clients and stakeholders. I also contribute to the bank's mission of creating a more diverse and inclusive culture in the technology sector, by participating in mentorship and outreach programs for underrepresented groups.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Security degree from John Jay College and Psychology degree from Alfred University, which helps me understand human behavior and cognition, and apply psychological principles to design and evaluate user interfaces and experiences. I'm currently pursuing my Master of Science in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology, where I focus on learning advanced topics in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science. I aim to use my knowledge and skills to create innovative and impactful products that can solve real-world problems and improve people's lives. I am passionate about learning new technologies, exploring new challenges, and collaborating with others who share my vision and values. I am always eager to expand my horizons and grow as a professional and as a person.
