Lecture Summary
Our country was created by regular citizens willing to risk their lives for this grand social experiment that became America. Our ancestors went through great social upheaval to birth what is clearly the world’s greatest Democracy.
We learned from them that the voices, the will, the commitment of a few could change the course of history and create a better world. So, the question is what does it mean to be a citizen today? What are our responsibilities to ensure that the next chapter of this great Democracy is one where everyone has an opportunity to succeed. How will you use your voice? Will you be part of the conversation? |
