Event Description:
Disability Rights Museum on Wheels – OPEN to the public
John Jay College and CUNY will host the US Business Leadership Network’s (USBLN®) Disability Rights Museum on Wheels (DRMW) in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Visit the Museum, which is made possible by support from the EY, The Loreen Arbus Foundation and others, on Tuesday, July 14 from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM, stationed outside the 860 Eleventh Avenue entrance of College’s new building, between 58th and 59th Streets.
The DRMW is an accessible self-contained 48 foot vehicle, featuring 320 square feet of interactive learning activities and emerging technologies and designed to help educate the public about the American with Disabilities Act, disability rights history, and to promote full inclusion of people with disabilities in all areas of society.
*Learn more about the DRMW here.
The US Business Leadership Network® (USBLN®) is a national non-profit that helps business drive performance by leveraging disability inclusion in the workplace, supply chain, and marketplace.
