Event Description:
The Stop Hunger Now program as part of the 50th Anniversary Acts of Justice and in commemoration of 9/11 Day of Service will allow the John Jay community to pack 10,000 meals for areas of need around the world. “Stop Hunger Now” has perfected the assembly process that combines rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables and a flavoring mix including 21 essential vitamins and minerals into small meal packets. 100 students, staff and faculty will package 10,000 meals in approximately two hours during Community Hour on September 10. |
