Join Tara Pauliny and Tim McCormack from the Department of English in a presentation that will discuss the variety of writing genres and purposes faculty should consider in online courses--from low stakes to high stakes, from journals to research-based assignments, from response papers to research projects, from straight alphabetic texts to multimodal projects--by asking the questions: what kind of writing am I looking for and what do I want students to learn from this writing assignment?
