Dr. Isabel Martinez is an Associate Professor in John Jay College’s Department of Latin American and Latinx Studies. She is the founding director of the Unaccompanied Latin American Minor Project (U- LAMP) and a founding member of JJC’s Immigrant Student Success Center.
Dr. Stephanie L. Canizales is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of California at Merced. Her work examines the social, economic, and health effects of unaccompanied migration, asylum law and application procedures, and social integration.
Dr. Daysi Diaz-Strong is an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago’s Jane Addams College of Social Work. Her research focuses on the experiences of Latinx undocumented immigrants and the impact of immigration policy on their educational trajectories. |
