Executives in Residence - Careers in Forensic Psychology

 Date: Thursday, November 11, 2021

Time: 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Are you interested in pursuing a career in Forensic Psychology? Then, don't miss the opportunity to learn from a professional about the needed skills to excel in the field.

Executives in Residence presents Amor Correa Ph.D., Forensic Psychologist at the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Amor A. Correa, Ph.D., obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology from New York University and master's and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from the University of North Texas.

Currently, she is a forensic psychologist in private practice and works for the Federal Bureau of Prisons.  She specializes in Court-Ordered evaluations for competency to stand trial, insanity, and risk of dangerousness, among other referral questions.  Dr. Correa also serves as a consultant on various research projects, has published book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles, and is an editorial reviewer for several academic journals.

Amor is eager to meet and network with our students. So do take advantage of this opportunity to learn techniques needed to succeed in the field, network with the people within, and see how you can get a head start.
