Learn more about the wide array of graduate programs at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY. The Office of Graduate Studies invites you to envision your goals through our renowned MA, MS, MPA, and PhD programs.  This virtual event will focus on the value of a John Jay graduate degree, advising on programs, and information on the admissions process. Zoom in to hear from our guest speakers, advisers and admissions staff and get your questions answered!

  • Dr. Frantz Dorsainvil, Keynote Speaker: A Graduate Degree Still Matters: From English Language Learner to Doctor of Education
6:00pm:
  • Undergraduate students will receive an informational session on JJC Masters Programs
  • Graduate students will receive an informational session on JJC/CUNY Doctoral Programs


Keynote Speaker's Bio

Dr. Frantz Dorsainvil- holds a doctorate degree in School Administration and Technology from Dowling College, Masters’ in School Administration and Supervision from College of New Rochelle, New York, Masters’ in School Counseling from C.W. Post, Long Island University, New York and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from State University College at Old Westbury, New York.  

Dr. Dorsainvil- has over two decades of experience in the education system, working as an elementary teacher for 15 years and a school counselor for five years. In 2015 he was hired as an Assistant Principal at Walnut Street Elementary School in Uniondale Public School District.

In 2013, Dr. Dorsainvil founded the Gift of Writing Foundation, Inc, a  not-for-profit organization formed for the charitable purposes of promoting, sponsoring, and fostering children’s education in Haiti and other communities in need across the world. 

This event is co-sponsored by the Student Activity Association and the Office of Graduate Studies.
