  As John Jay College closes its doors to the Department of Communication & Theatre Arts, the students of DRA 301-01, the Directing class, invites you to their final project ASS PLAYS by Steven Fechter. Originally devised with the company of A Laboratory for Actor Training then in residence at John Jay, ASS PLAYS was created in response to the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements. It explores the intersection between sex and dignity with family, friends, lovers and strangers. ASS PLAYS seeks to examine our shifting relationship to power, gender and consent. Please encourage your students to support the work of their peers by attending this final offering of the CTA Department.
