Workshop: NYPD Police Exam & Practice Test

Time: 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Description:
We know due to the ongoing COVID Pandemic, it is difficult to
interact with prospective individuals who are interested in a career
with the Police Department. We are excited to announce that the next
Police Officer Exam will open for filing in April, and testing will
commence in June. The exact dates for filing are; April 7th, 2021-April
27th, 2021.
It gets even better! The Recruitment Section and John
Jay College of Criminal Justice will be hosting Virtual Tutorial
Sessions to prepare all those who are interested via ZOOM! During these
Virtual Tutorial Sessions, Recruiters will review practice exams that
mirror the actual exam you will take on test day at one of the DCAS
locations. We will review questions you found difficult, and go over
test taking techniques. Our Recruiters will review all subject matter
the exam regularly covers: reading comprehension, writing expression,
memorization, problem solving, deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning,
information ordering, spatial orientation, and visualization. You
essentially will be in a classroom, one on one with our Recruiters.

If
you are interested in one or more of these Virtual Tutorial Sessions,
please register via zoom. We know the thought of taking the exam can be
extremely stressful, so the Recruitment Section wants to help you
alleviate those nerves, and help you score as high as possible. Not only
will we review exam questions with you, but we will teach you test
taking techniques that will help you on test day! We hope to see you
