Dr. Gohar Petrossian, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at John Jay College, will speak on her book ​The Last Fish Swimming: The Global Crime of Illegal Fishing​, which examines the factors that make illegal fishing possible and lays out policies that may ensure the sustainability of the fishing industry for future generations.
