Event Description:
Co-sponsored by John Jay College’s Center on Race, Crime and Justice, this event will bring together various experts to discuss disparities in sentencing, including 2014 MacArthur Fellow Jennifer Eberhardt and Slate Magazine writer Jamelle Bouie.

The event will be held in the Moot Court on the 6th floor of John Jay College’s New Building, with bagels & coffee available at 8:30am and the speakers beginning promptly at 9am. In addition to remarks by each featured speaker, the day will include a moderated panel discussion and audience Q & A.
