Prof. Timothy Kneeland will discuss his new book: "Playing Politics with Natural Disaster: Hurricane Agnes, the 1972 Election, and the Origins of FEMA."
This promises to be an interesting talk, as it spans history, politics, and the always-timely debate on the "appropriate" division of responsibility for preparing for, responding to, and mitigating and recovering from disasters.
Prof. Kneeland is from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY and teaches in the Departments of History and Politics.
