Join OAR for its first book talk of the fall, featuring Associate Professor of Public Management Denise Thompson discussing her book, Disaster Risk Governance: Four Cases from Developing Countries. She will be joined by Charles Jennings, Associate Professor in John Jay's Science, Fire, & Emergency Management Department. They will talk about how a holistic approach to preparing for and recovering from disasters can be applied to more than just hurricanes; a conversation that is very relevant to the pandemic we are experiencing today.
