The Institute for Innovation in Prosecution, John Jay Student Council, John Jay Pre-Law Institute, John Jay Office of External Affairs, and John Jay's Psychology Department, are proud to be hosting a panel series on Human Trafficking, Intersectionality, and the Justice System.
This panel series will bring together thought leaders to discuss the current state of the criminal justice system and trafficking. In the past, conversations about domestic sex trafficking have centered white, heteronormative voices. Recently, jurisdictions around the country have reported a disproportionate number of Black and Brown survivors. This series will serve as a space to spread awareness, open a conversation amongst survivors, academics, and practitioners, and lay the foundation for bridging research, practice, and policy to reflect the experiences of survivors.
Please join us for our third panel discussion of the series on November 30th.
