With funding from FEMA as part of the Complex Coordinated Terrorist Attack Program, the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services (DHSES) has created a “Managing Chaos” workshop for senior elected and appointed officials. The workshop serves as a forum for sharing information, ideas, and best practices regarding crisis leadership, crisis-decision making, and crisis communication. It includes both academic and practical insights based on research and experience from senior officials and practitioners that have dealt with major crisis events across the country (e.g., Las Vegas Shooting, Boston Bombing, etc.). The presentation will include information regarding the development and delivery of the workshop, to include the key themes and findings associated with the research.
Join our expert presenter for what promises to be an informative and authoritative talk.
