This session will discuss what Millennials want and value in the workplace as discovered in numerous interviews, and practical methods to successfully recruit, retain, and manage this large and valuable cohort. Further, based on analysis of 11,000 test takers of the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument, the discussion will focus on the predominant conflict styles of Millennials, Generation Xers, and Baby Boomers, revealing generational differences in approaches to conflict. Lastly, how gender impacts conflict styles with interesting differences in younger cohorts will be covered.
