Lauren Smith is currently working as a Financial Analyst on the Financial Analysis & Surveillance team in the Compliance department at NFA, where Lauren has worked for a year and a half. Before Lauren was hired as a full-time employee at NFA, Lauren worked as a Compliance Intern during her last semester at John Jay College. Prior to NFA, Lauren was a Forensic Accounting and Financial Investigations Intern with the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.

Lauren graduated from John Jay College in December of 2018 where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Fraud Examination and Financial Forensics. Currently, Lauren is back in school at Iona College, working on her Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.

Outside of work, in her free time, Lauren enjoys going to the gym, running outside, reading a good book and traveling.
