What
do I do at amazon: I am part of the professional services arm of AWS,
and I help global financial clients move to AWS (Amazon web services)
cloud
I grew up in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and moved to the
States when I was 17 with my family. I graduated from Stony Brook
University with a degree in computer engineering and a minor in computer
science.
I started my software engineering career back in 2012 at
CA Technologies. After 6 years at CA, I got a job at JP Morgan Chase as
a DevOps engineer and stayed there close to 2 years. Currently, I am
employed at Amazon web services (AWS). Throughout my career I’ve worn
multiple hats; I have worked as an automation engineer, I’ve built
software and internal tools using in java, Perl and python, and have
cloud engineering experiences particularly in the AWS cloud using tools
like Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins and python
