Executives in Residence presents Amor Correa Ph.D., Forensic Psychologist at the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Amor A. Correa, Ph.D., obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology from New York University and master's and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from the University of North Texas.
Currently, she is a forensic psychologist in private practice and works for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. She specializes in Court-Ordered evaluations for competency to stand trial, insanity, and risk of dangerousness, among other referral questions. Dr. Correa also serves as a consultant on various research projects, has published book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles, and is an editorial reviewer for several academic journals.
